High Holiday Babysitting
Thursday, September 25 - Saturday, October 4:

Babysitting services will be available during the High Holidays for children ages 1-8. Children in babysitting will be escorted to and from minyanim at the proper times. Babysitting will be available: • Rosh Hashana Mornings, 9/25 & 9/26: 9:00 am – end of sanctuary services • Kol Nidrei, 10/3: 6:00 pm – end of sanctuary services • Yom Kippur Morning, 10/4: 9:00 am – end of sanctuary services • Ne’ilah, 10/4: 4:30 pm – end of sanctuary services The fee for babysitting services is $20 per child per day. RSVP is required. E-mail Hadar Schwartz at education.sznyc@gmail.com by September 15. *** Advanced registration is required for babysitting to ensure adequate supervision. If we do not receive sufficient requests, we will not be able to offer babysitting services. You will be notified by September 15th of the continued availability of babysitting.

High Holidays Children's Services
Thursday, September 25 - Saturday, October 4:

Please join us for our special High Holiday children’s services. Children’s services will take place at the following times: Rosh Hashanah Mornings, 9/25 & 9/26: 10:30 AM – 12 PM Kol Nidre, 10/3: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Yom Kippur Morning, 10/4: 10:30 AM – 12 PM We offer services for children ages 0-5 (Minyan Katan) and ages 6-12 (Minyan Gadol). Parental supervision is required in Minyan Katan. ***Parents are asked to pick up their child(ren) at the end of children’s services unless using babysitting services. All parents must supervise their children before and after children’s services.***

Shaare Zedek Community Shabbat Dinner

Following the success of the previous post-Rosh Hashana Community Shabbat dinner, we invite you to join us once again on Erev Shabbat, September 26, following our 6:30 pm Kabbalat Shabbat services, for a festive dinner, catered by Simply Divine Kosher Catering. Families are welcome. Registration will close on September 19 at 10 am. We hope you can join us! Due to the holidays, we are unable to accept registrations after the deadline.

Sukkah Decorating
Sunday, October 5: 2-4 pm

Add your design flare to our Shaare Zedek sukkah. Families and members of all ages are invited to help us decorate the sukkah. Drop by any time between 2-4 PM. Snacks will be served.

Vegetarian Indian Dinner in the Sukkah, after services
Wednesday, October 8: 6 pm

Join us for a Shaare Zedek first night of Sukkot tradition - Indian food in the Sukkah! $22 for SZ members, $27.00 for other adults, $15 for children. Space is limited; registration closes Thursday, October 2nd (earlier if the Sukkah fills) and is based on a first come first served basis.

Chai Minyan Dairy Potluck Dinner

Join us for 6 pm services, followed by our annual Sukkot dairy potluck dinner! Stay tuned for registration details.

Family Dinner in the Sukkah
Monday, October 13: 5 pm

Children's Hakafot
Thursday, October 16 - Friday, October 17:

Join us for Children’s Hakafot at 6 PM on Thursday, October 16. Then, come back the next morning for the continuation of the Simchat Torah celebration at 11 AM. Everyone who joins gets an aliyah! We look forward to celebrating with you.
