high Holidays at Shaare Zedek

2017 / 5778

This will be the final Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in our existing building before we temporarily relocate for its reconstruction. Don't miss out on this historic opportunity to observe the High Holidays in our beautiful sanctuary, surrounded by family and friends.

Shaare Zedek's High Holiday services will be led by Rabbi Jonah Geffen, Hazzan-in-Residence Shoshi Rosenbaum, and SZ member Efrem Epstein. The complete service schedule is included on this webpage.

All tickets provide access to services on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Tickets are included for all members of your household with Shaare Zedek membership. Non-members may purchase tickets at the following rates:

  • Adults: $72
  • Full-time students: $36
  • Two-parent families with one or more children: $200 (includes children's programming)
  • Single-parent families with one or more children: $100 (includes children's programming)

Additionally, you can add your loved ones' names to this year's Yizkor Memorial Book with a donation of $18 per name.

Learn more about our multi-sensory children's programming.

Please note that Shaare Zedek members receive free tickets for each household member -- and free registration for children's programming -- and should purchase only for additional guests. Non-member seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets purchased by August 31st will be sent to you by mail. Tickets purchased in September will be available for pick-up at all High Holiday services beginning Erev Rosh Hashanah. Tickets purchased after Friday, September 15th will be assigned to a section of unreserved seating.

Please contact the shul office by August 31st if you or your company would like to purchase space in our High Holiday newsletter for holiday greetings or advertising. Rates are posted here.
