high Holidays at Shaare Zedek

Shaare Zedek's High Holiday services will be led by Rabbi Jonah Geffen with Rabbi Dr. Rabbi Barat Ellman and SZ member Efrem Epstein. The complete service schedule is included on this webpage. Ticket sales are now closed. We have a small amount of tickets available at services on a first-come, first-served basis.

We will be holding services at two separate locations this year:

  • Rosh Hashanah will be held at PS75 Emily Dickinson School (735 West End Avenue)*

  • Yom Kippur will be held at the Manhattan Country School (150 West 85th Street)

Please note:

  • There will be general, unassigned seating at both locations. Please contact the office before the holidays if you require further assistance due to mobility, etc.

  • All tickets provide access to services on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

 

Registration

Tickets are included for all members of your household with Shaare Zedek membership. Members, you are automatically registered for holiday services when you join or renew your membership here. You may purchase tickets for your guests, contribute to the 5779 Yizkor Memorial Book, and make additional donations at the button below.

Non-members may purchase tickets at the following rates, available on a first-come, first-served basis:

  • Adults: $72

  • Full-time students: $36

  • Two-parent families with one or more children: $200 (includes children's programming)

  • Single-parent families with one or more children: $100 (includes children's programming)

Additionally, anyone can add their loved ones' names to the 5779 Yizkor Memorial Book with a donation of $18 per name. We are now longer accepting names for the Yizkor book.
