Avraham and Sara Didn't Play Shuffleboard: Walking with our Ancestors

  • Franciscan Community Center 214 West 97th Street New York, NY, 10025 United States (map)

Our monthly text study series is led by talented teachers from our community. After kiddush lunch on May 18, join us for a session with SZ member, Katja Vehlow, PhD. Sara and Avraham were pretty old when they turned to perform significant tasks such as leaving Ur, first circumcision, having a baby, and Akedat Itzhaq. Our ancestors can show us how to leverage a lifetime of learning, courage, and love. You don't have to be young to do something momentous! This talk is in honor of SZ member Fanny Freund’s 95th birthday.
