After kiddush lunch on November 17, join us for a text study with SZ member Darcy Fryer, PhD.  We'll explore the naturalistic and human images that suffuse the Torah service.  Is the Torah more like a thunderstorm, a tree, or a king?  Why do we need so many contrasting images in one service?
